Blackout Problems

About

In the last ten years at least, nothing has ever stood still for BLACKOUT PROBLEMS:

Not only have all four of the Munich band's official studio albums since 2016 landed in the top 100 of the German album charts (“RIOT” from 2024 recently even reached #5!), but not a year has gone by in which they haven't toured as if driven. They repeatedly left the beaten track and toured all over Europe, whether on their own headline tour (the tour for the last album alone took the band through ten European countries in 24 concerts!) or together with scene giants such as Enter Shikari and Fever333.

The passion with which Mario Radetzky, Marcus Schwarzbach and Moritz Hammrich run BLACKOUT PROBLEMS is paying off: not only have they played their own biggest concerts in venues such as the Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne or the Muffathalle in Munich, their name can now also be found on posters for festivals such as Rock Am Ring / Rock Im Park.

After a major label excursion, the trio will be returning to their DIY roots from 2025: the band will once again be handling all label and management matters themselves with their own label Munich Warehouse: The signs are pointing to NEW!

After the single “Quicker Than Death” with the British metalcore duo Lake Malice, the band released their most offensive song to date in February of this year with “FRONTROW”, with the unmistakable message: “does voting for a fascist / really make you a fascist? / I guess yes yes yes yes yes."
